Acworth - Allatoona Creek Mountain Bike Park
Allatoona Creek is one of our favorites. You'll find trails for many difficulty levels, here. In fact, the long flat path that leads to the different mountain biking loops is perfect for even the least experienced bikers. The, "Rusty Bucket," loop is one of my 10 yr old's most frequented trails and provides a good sampling of beginner mountain biking. There are also some longer, intermediate trails, "Turtleback," and "Mason's Bridge."

At the beginning of the trail, there is a skills practice area with technical obstacles like board crossings, small rock gardens and small jumps. When you advance to the beginner trail, Mosquito Flats, you'll ride a family-friendly scenic trail alongside the creek. The continuation of this trail, Mosquito Bite Loop, has a creek crossing & a couple wooden structures.
