Nature does not hurry.. Reflections & Explorers Log January

Hi y'all! I'm treating myself and my friends to monthly reflections, this year. These are meant to help me keep track and make sense of things. I am one of those creative types that flourish in clutter and chaos. I'm also the first to admit that my way is no way to keep any sort of order.

Our January Reflection is courtesy of the Vickery Creek portion of Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area and Lao Tzu.

Nature does not hurry... Reflections and Explorers Log, January 2015

January was a busy and stressful way to start 2015. Despite the fact that I feel like I've done a lot of running around and not accomplished much of anything, we did complete the trail system at Sweetwater Creek State Park and I was named Georgia's Official Outdoor Explorer by Explore Georgia. These are both big deals to me. I'm not well-known for finishing things. In fact, I like to leave things unfinished for some reason I'd rather not question. So, hiking a park's entire trail system was a milestone for me and my boys. As for being named the Official Outdoor Explorer, I'm ecstatic - however, I have been unnecessarily stressing over whether or not people really want to read anything I write. My goal, for February, is to relax and go with the flow. Everything seems to be falling into place quite nicely and I don't know why I'm stressing about it so much.
